Hope all is well!!!
Cleveland Photographic Society has changed their competitions up a bit, and included a brand new category! The new Category is a general B&W competition, which can include anything B&W. This just so happens to be one of the areas where I struggle, so I see this as a great opportunity to learn and grow at something new! The competition was tough, but I did manage to receive one award!
2015-07-17 - Third place - B&W Competition - "Meditation"
Taken during a fun photo shoot with my friend Kelly!
2015-07-17 - Did not place - B&W Competition - "Colorado Curve"
Taken during a road trip through Colorado.
2015-07-17 - Did not place - Pictorial Competition - "Tiny Cleveland Fireworks - 2015"
(This photo was taken from the top of the silos at the mouth of the Cuyahoga River! The two tiny dots about 1/8" down and right from the source of the fireworks is my brother and his colleagues! I was the only photographer allowed onsite for this display, and am grateful that I could experience such a cool event!)
Aside from that, I just found out that one of the photos I had sent in the last email (seen below) has been chosen by a panel of judges to be on display at a photo exhibit in University Circle at the Coffee House! Turns out that one of the judges is one of my new co-workers!
Sadly, the next photo contest won't be until August 21st, so It'll be a little while before I send another one of these!
I wish you all the best, and hope to hear from you all soon!
Have a great day!
